Dierks
DIERKS LAKE
Dierks has two of the areas Tri Lakes right in their back yard. Dierks & Gilliam Lakes offer fishing for many species of fish & recreational activities including a swim beach, playgrounds, volleyball & a meeting facility as well as modern updated camping with handicap access.

COSSATOT RIVER STATE PARK NATURAL AREA
A 5,383-acre state park and designated natural area located in Howard County. The Park lies along 11 miles of the Cossatot River which features Class III, IV, and dangerous Class V rapids making it one of the more challenging float rivers in the central United States. The park shares a border with the Ouachita National Forest, offers hiking trails & wildlife viewing. The river, including the park, has been designated as a National Wild and Scenic River.

HUNTING
Hunters will abound in the Howard County, Provo & Lake Greeson Wildlife Management Areas. These areas combined offer over 75,000 acres open to permit holders for excellent hunting offering an opportunity at a variety of game.

ALBERT PIKE
Albert Pike is located on the Little Missouri River and is only a short drive from Dierks. This area offers to bring the outdoors right to your door step with camping, hiking, and fishing.

LAKE GREESON
A 35,000 acre lake that is created by Narrows Dam, named after the area in which it is located, "The Narrows", has been recognized by its variety of fish, which include: Striped Bass, largemouth, spotted,white bass, flathead and channel catfish. The area below Narrows Dam has a mighty supply of rainbow trout. Lake Greeson, only 20 miles from Dierks by Hwy 70, provides 45 miles of walking, nature, and cycling trails along with the Lake Greeson Public Hunting Area. There are 15 parks with camping, fishing, boating, biking, and swimming, marinas along with cabin & boat rentals.

DIERKS CITY PARK
Located in the heart of Dierks the park offers tennis courts, basketball courts, ball fields, playground and walking trails.

OUACHITA NATIONAL FOREST
The oldest National Forest in the southern United States, the forest encompasses 1,748,457 acres including most of the scenic Ouachita Mountains. The forest contains a number of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails along with canoeing and fishing.

Nashville
HOWARD COUNTY COURTHOUSE
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

NASHVILLE MUNICIPAL PARK
The 120-acre park has nine ball fields, four tennis courts, two soccer fields, skate park, playground, picnic areas, two pavilions, walking trail, half-acre pond, RV hookups and an amphitheater. Dinosaur tracks taken from an archeological dig near the city are on display here.
